History
Mauritius by Georg Trump for Weber ( 1968 )
ToMentor is built on the wisdom of modern serif typefaces such as the Times New Roman by Stanley Morison for ( 1932 ) The Times or Magister by Aldo Novarese for Nebiolio ( 1966 ), with the intention of proposing a timeless companion in the vast expanse of serif fonts. ToMentor draws inspiration from Mauritius by Georg Trump for Weber ( 1968 ) by highlighting the singular design features of the drops present in the lowercase « a », « c » or « f ». On the other hand, the typeface borrows proportions from grotesque typefaces that feature a strong x-height and a wide body, making it compatible with compact lineheights. The family ranging from regular to bold, in both regular and extended is a versatile tool for body applications as well as for impact in large sizes. Designed between 2017–2023, first released in 2017.
